School Counseling

Hello! Thank you for visiting the counseling page for Tahoe Lake Elementary School.  My name is Megan Hurley and I grew up in Lake Tahoe. I graduated from Sierra Nevada College with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Outdoor Adventure Leadership.  I then received my master's degree from University of Nevada Reno in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in School Counseling.  I am so grateful to work at the elementary school here in Tahoe City.

I work with students individually and in group settings.  I also teach guidance lessons in the classroom and plan some of our school wide events.  If you have any questions about the counseling program, please don't hesitate to reach out at mhurley@ttusd.org.
